Alpha Omega Aged Care and Disability Service is hiring support workers in a casual or part time permanent basis.

**Position Purpose**:
To assist elderly and disability clients in performing daily tasks and improve overall independence and wellbeing in a home or community setting.

Location: SouthWest, Western Sydney and InnerWest.

**Job responsibilities**:

- Assisting with daily care for clients at their home including showering, changing clothes, brushing their teeth, etc.
- Transporting and accompanying clients when required.
- Performing housekeeping including domestic cleaning, laundry, food preparation, shopping.
- Training clients to care for themselves and educate family members.
- Social support to improve clients’ wellbeing and independence.
- Perform administrative duties such as always clocking in/out after each shift, making incident reports, and entering shift notes on the rostering app.
- Current National Police Check.
- Arabic/Assyrian is a must.
- Fully vaccinated and including a booster jab.

**Desirable criteria**:

- Live experience on supporting people with Disabilities and/or elderly people.
- Certificate Level III in Individual Support (Disability or Home, Social and Community Service) (desirable), or willing to upskill yourself if we provide online training.
- Full driver licence and access to a vehicle.
