**This role is responsible for the ANZ Salesforce.org book of business, and partners with sales, services, customer success, and support to implement our strategy. This person is responsible for conducting account reviews, risk assessment, and due diligence, developing a win-win renewal strategy, ownership and maintenance of renewal opportunities and forecast, negotiation, engaging internal resources and closing renewals prior to expiration. The Renewal Manager is responsible for securing every renewal, every time, growing customer usage, generating and winning account growth opportunities.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and execute win/win negotiation strategies for account contract renewals that maximize contract value while protecting and enhancing the customer relationship
- Increase account growth opportunities by playing an active role helping to identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities upon contract renewal
- Own, drive and handle the renewals process in collaboration with the account team
- Identify customer requirements, uncover roadblocks, and demonstrate strong account management capabilities to drive renewal to on-time closure
- Provide executive management with complete transparency to renewals and solicit executive involvement as the need arises.
- Communicate risk clearly and take the lead in developing resolution strategies
- Accurately maintain a rolling 120 day forecast of renewals across ANZ Salesforce.org
- Deliver best practices in client management and technical knowledge to ensure maximum retention and growth potential
- Ensure any issues are resolved quickly, using resources from across multiple departments as needed
**Required Skills**:
- 3+ years shown success in a Renewals, Operations or Account Management capacity with a strong focus on customer management and negotiating services contracts
- Strong ability to discuss value and understand client needs
- Ability to demonstrate a strategic mentality to enable persuasive value conversations with customers at an executive level
- Ability to react and adapt to potential rapid shifts in priorities and organizational policies
- Experience in technology, preferably CRM or SaaS
- Ability to work independently and to identify areas of process improvement and efficiency
- Proactive approach with strong attention to detail and organization
- Great teammate with a track record of building positive relationships with peers and others within a company
- Experience will be evaluated based on alignment to the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer work, etc.).
