Before you apply, please note that although our furry clients are definitely adorable, this role is more than just playing with puppies all day. As Pet Minders, we must be resourceful, reliable, safety-minded and responsible with the pets and homes under our care. This is a sub-contractor position (super included). Please note that the job is not limited to this area. **We service most areas of Brisbane, so you don't have to be situated in the suburb listed above.**

DESCRIPTION
- Dog Walking: 30 to 60 minute dog walks in the dog’s neighbourhood, the beach or the park. Up to two dogs maximum.
- Pet Sitting: Daily 30 to 60 minute visits to the client’s homes to care for their dogs, cats or small animals.
- House Sitting - Overnight stays in client’s homes for one or multiple nights. This is a must and something you must be comfortable doing.

- Enjoy travelling to various locations, love being outdoors and love being active
- Are reliable and trustworthy - clients rely on us to care for their pets and stick to the time agreed upon - that means no last-minute cancellations
- Are able to work independently and use initiative and decision-making skills to resolve problems quickly and efficiently
- Are friendly, approachable and love dealing with the families of the pets under their care.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- ABN
- Police check
- Public Liability Insurance (we can suggest some providers)
- Drivers licence and access to own vehicle
- Mobile phone and data plan
- Previous experience with animals and animal behaviour/handling knowledge
- Pet first aid certification (can be completed in your first week of work with us)
- Available relatively flexible hours throughout the week and weekend, including some public holidays and can cater to some last-minute jobs.

**Salary**: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
