Casual  Kennel Attendant

About us – Australian Pet Boarding is an award winning pet boarding and dog training centre, located off the Pacific Highway at South Kempsey. It is a business that prides itself on being the Mid North Coast primary boarding kennel and training centre, providing the highest standard of care and customer service to all our guests.

About The Role

We are looking for a kennel attendant to join our team on a casual basis.

You must be able to work a 7-day rotating roster including public holidays when needed. Shifts may vary.

.This is a physically demanding role where you will be working at a fast tempo.

Roles and Responsibilities –

. Daily cleaning and maintenance of the kennel and accommodation

. High observation of guests (nutrition, special needs, identifying and reporting to supervisor)

. Feeding, Administering medication and daily health checks

. Basic grooming (baths & blow-drying)

Skills –

. Previous experience working with animals is preferable but not essential

. Proven ability to work in a team with good communication skills

. Motivated with strong initiative

. Strong work ethic with an outgoing and happy disposition

.Some reception and computer experience would be preferable

.Ideally you will live within a 30 minute commute and be available on short notice
