**About the role**

The main purpose of your job is to support the client to be as involved as possible in every part of their day to day lives so that they can be more independent. Support workers need to be committed to their duty of care toward the participants. We are happy to work with you to help you become an excellent support worker.

**Duties can include but are not limited to**:

- Traveling to client's homes and assisting with daily living supports
- Personal Care
- Assist client with transportation and community access
- Manual Handling
- Following policy & procedure such as OHS & Covid-19
- Following care plans and achieving goals with participants
- Maintain accurate reporting (includes digital timesheets, risk & incident reports, roster app, etc.)
- Honest and transparent communication & feedback.
- A confident, goal oriented and strength based approach
- Engagement in social and skill building community activities
- Eye for detail concerning in-home risks
- Consistent communication and exhibiting leadership

**To be considered for this role you must have**
- NDIS Screening Check
- Valid Covid-19 Vaccination certificate
- Valid Driver’s License & Own Car

- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- NDIS Orientation Module
- COVID-19 Infection Control Training

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $29.00 - $43.44 per hour

- First Aid and CPR Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- Driver Licence and Car (required)
