**The Role**

This tier 1 food manufacturing business are constantly evolving, and continuing to experience strong growth. As such, there is also a greater focus on ensuring operational excellence and driving efficiencies through better planning and understanding of their plant & equipment. As part of this focus they have a need for a
**Maintenance Planner to join their team based in the Western suburbs of Sydney.**

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager your will be responsible for:

- Ensuring the maintenance team is set clear daily tasks
- Coordinating and scheduling maintenance
- Preparing and managing major plant shutdowns
- Managing external contractors
- Pro-actively engage with relevant stakeholders primarily being maintenance trades and production to ensure preventative maintenance tasks are carried out in full and in a timely manner.
- Allocating spare parts
- Assist with implementing overall preventative maintenance strategy

**Your Background**
- Be a degree qualified engineer either mechanical or electrical, or come from a trades background
- Prior FMCG or Pharma experience
- Have a proven background of CMMS system - ideally SAP or MEX
- Strong problem solving and prioritizing skills
