**The Company**
This manufacturing business is continuing to experience strong growth, further securing their position as a top food manufacturer within their sector. As such, there is also a greater focus on ensuring operational excellence and driving efficiencies through better planning and understanding of their plant & equipment.
As part of this focus they have a need for a Maintenance Planner to join their team based in the southeastern suburbs of Melbourne.
**The Role**
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager your will be responsible for:
- Planning weekly maintenance activities through the CMMS system.
- Driving maintenance improvements by implementing new systems and strategies.
- Preparing and project managing major plant shutdowns.
- Pro-actively engage with relevant stakeholders primarily being maintenance trades and production to ensure preventative maintenance tasks are carried out in full and in a timely manner.
- You will also be responsible for driving improvements in their long term maintenance plans and providing visibility of overall equipment effectiveness.
**Your Background**
In order to be successful in this role you will:
- Be a degree qualified engineer either mechanical or electrical, or come from a trades background.
- Have proven experience within a large and complex food, pharmaceutical or packaging manufacturing business as a maintenance planner.
- Have a proven background of implementing and managing a CMMS system - ideally Mex, Maximo or SAP.
- Proven experience developing a preventative maintenance environment.
