What will you do
We have a rare opportunity for an experienced National Sales Manager Civil Infrastructure Direct to take the lead, to mentor and support our National Civil and Infrastructure Direct segment sales team. In this busy role you will collaborate and build strong relationships across all functions of Vinidex, to deliver results on agreed revenue & margin budgets/targets within the Civil Infrastructure Direct business
Based on the East Coast (Melbourne, Sydney or Queensland), this is a great opportunity for you to set new business strategies and initiatives, work with the project team to track progress and alignment, lead the tender presentation to showcase our values and benefits, manage some key national accounts, whilst fostering a high achievement sales team.- Comply with all occupational health and safety laws, industry codes and practices to provide a safe workplace. The company holds the safety of its employees in the highest regard.- Provide sales and strategic direction to the Regional Sales team in QLD, NSW, VIC, WA, SA & NT- Participate as a member of the national sales management team and contribute to the wider strategic direction of the Vinidex business.- Establish & maintain effective and influential relationships with key customers within the Civil Infrastructure Direct business market segment.- Proactively drive the agreed V60 sales growth & margin improvement objectives through the key customers, consistently delivering service improvement initiatives and customer service based on trust and influential relationships with key customer decision makers.- Create a high achieving team environment which supports and collaborates effectively with the National Service Teams through quality communication, relationship management, and a team-based culture working effectively for each other.- Deliver results through a high degree of internal collaboration with other key internal stakeholders such as the Executive Team, Marketing/Product Management, Supply Chain, Planning, Manufacturing and Finance/Administration.- Monitor a range of key Segment, Customer & Product data that supports the agreed strategic Sales Growth & Margin Growth strategies
About you- Ideally you will have 10 years Sales Management experience, with recent National Sales Management or Regional Management of a designated area, such as one or more states within the Civil Infrastructure segment.- Demonstrated experience selling business to business.- Experience leading, mentoring and coaching a national sales team with experience dealing with customer resolutions and exceptional problem-solving skills to resolve challenges.- Strong financial and commercial acumen, comfortable leading annual budget discussions with the ability to evaluate market and commercial indicators and translate into actionable responses to drive results.- Computer literate with solid Microsoft Office and presentation skills, and proficient using ERP/CRM systems (SAP preferred).- Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to build meaningful relationships with key internal stakeholders across the business, customers and industrial alliances, to influence and negotiate to get the best result.- Demonstrated team player with a collaborative style who is positive, resilient and is a strategic thinker with the ability to build strategic business plans and lead the team to get the best results.- Excellent time management and coordination skills with a sense of urgency, results focused, with high attention to detail and analytical mindset.- You are safety focused, have a can-do attitude, are flexible, quickly adapt to new challenges and support change.- Must be prepared to travel nationally (30%) of the time as is a requirement of this role.
