**ABOUT OUR CLIENT & THE ROLE**

Our client is a leading Building Surveyor providing a proactive approach that continues to provide a high level of service in building consultancy. Due to continual growth, they're seeking a skilled and dynamic Bookkeeper to join their team.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable, including setting up new suppliers, confirming bank account details, and processing payments.
- Oversee end-to-end accounts receivable, providing assistance with debt collection.
- Prepare weekly bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Process payroll, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements such as superannuation, payroll tax, and Workcover lodgements.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and workpapers for Manager review.
- Manage the motor vehicle fleet, including servicing, rotation, and contracts with suppliers.
- Provide support to the finance and IT teams as needed.
- Undertake other tasks and projects as directed.

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Bookkeeping.
- 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable/receivable with exposure to general accounting and bookkeeping principles.
- Proficiency with accounting software, particularly MYOB AccountRight and MYOB Advanced.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
