Opportunity for an experienced claims team leader to manage a claims team

**The Company**:
Established more than 60 years ago, our client are a market leader in the freight and transportation space. They are seeking an experienced claims team leader to manage their claims and insurance team based in Essendon Fields.

**The Role**:

- Manage a small team of 3 claims consultants
- Contribute to process improvements through change management
- Innovate and develop initiatives to streamline insurance processes and outcomes
- Responsible for the development of the claims team to drive a high performance culture
- Assist with managing the more complex matters
- Assist with renewals at the end of each year

**About You**:

- Extensive claims management experience across the general insurance space. Ideally motor and marine insurance but open to other lines
- Team leading experience is essential
- Relevant insurance or tertiary qualification desirable
- Ability to identify and implement new process improvements
