- In the role you will be responsible for the underwriting of A&H business in accordance with the relevant strategies, guidelines, authorities, and technical pricing tools, as well as contributing to the achievement of the A&H lines of business strategic and operational objectives.- Important to your success - let's grow together.- In order to be successful, you will require the following:
- Business degree preferred.
- ANZIIF CIP Insurance Qualification
- Insurance experience with general insurance underwriting, sales, services and/or claims experience.
- Uses specialised knowledge and expertise in products and industry to underwrite and analyse new and renewal business within delegated authority levels.
- Intermediate knowledge of insurance products
- Ability and confidence to assess risk and escalate as necessary.
- Knowledge of underwriting lifecycle and key risk elements
