- Role- Are you an A&H Underwriter or Assistant Underwriter with a passion for building on your knowledge and growing in your career, or are you currently working in a claims role or support role and looking to move into Underwriting? Are you looking to work in a team where you will feel valued as you make a difference and have real impact on business outcomes? If so, then this opportunity may be for you.- As an A&H Underwriter within our General Insurance business, you will support the A&H Team to maintain a profitable portfolio by delivering a market leading level of service and underwriting to our intermediaries and customers.- In the role you will be responsible for the Underwriting of A&H business in accordance with the relevant strategies, guidelines, authorities, and technical pricing tools, as well as contributing to the achievement of the A&H lines of business strategic and operational objectives.- Important to your success- Sound insurance knowledge
- General understanding of broker networks and systems
- Computer literate - Excel to intermediate level of proficiency
- Demonstrated competency in communication and influencing skills
