**Job description**:

- supporting people with disabilities to participate in social and recreational activities of their choice
- Transporting clients to different appointments
- undertaking tasks outside the home such as shopping, visiting friends and family
- assisting with personal care
- light domestic duties such as meal preparation and cleaning
- manual handling skills and/or the use of equipment to support mobility (wheelchairs or hoists)
- providing companionship and emotional support to participants
