We’re seeking an AVP/Associate to join our join our Australian Corporate Banking PAM team in Sydney. This role offers an opportunity to support Top Tier Local Corporate (TTLC) clients, make informed lending decisions to support business development, and contribute to the overall success of Citi’s Banking franchise.

Key Responsibilities:

- ** Credit Risk Management**
- Work in partnership with Institutional Credit Management & Underwriting to ensure credit requirements are met
- Act as an escalation point for clients and liaising with internal teams where required to ensure Operations and Product are taking the appropriate steps and responsibility to resolve items raised by the clients. Escalate internally when required
- Ensure continuous adherence to credit, risk and regulatory requirements for Citi’s lending activities
- ** Network Management**
- Coordinate with Products teams to ensure appropriate credit limits are in place to support client activities
- Support the co-ordination and execution of day-to-day credit requests from the GNB Network
- Act as an escalation point for clients and liaising with internal teams where required to ensure Operations and Product are taking the appropriate steps and responsibility to resolve items raised by the clients. Escalate internally when required.
- ** Client Relationship Management**
- Serve as the support banker to the PAM for a portfolio of key corporate clients
- Monitor key market, industry and economics trends and how it influences clients’ strategic objectives and financial needs
- Build and develop client relationships with key stakeholders to support long-term growth of the franchise
- ** Business Development**
- Support pitching activities to deliver cross-sell across Banking, Markets, and Services
- Collaborate with product partners and global teams to deliver integrated solutions to our clients
- Achieve financial objectives by leveraging Citi’s full spectrum of products and services

Skills and Experiences Required:

- 4-6 years of relevant experience in corporate banking, capital markets, advisory or a related financial services role, with a focus on large corporate clients
- Foundational knowledge of corporate finance principles, capital markets, and transaction banking products
- Strong credit analysis skills and a solid understanding of risk management
- Track record of supporting the execution of financial transactions, especially lending and capital markets
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop client relationships at a junior level
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with independence and across a diverse team
