**The opportunity**
Are you passionate about transforming health infrastructure planning and delivery process through data-driven insights? Join Health Infrastructure as an Analyst, Evidence, and Evaluation and play a key role in shaping the future of health infrastructure projects that maximise benefits for patients, communities, and the overall healthcare system.
In this dynamic role, you will be a vital member of our Economic Advisory team, responsible for developing annual evaluations of health capital projects. Your work will contribute to the NSW Treasury Evidence Bank and generate insightful summary reports for stakeholders. By identifying evaluation findings and lessons learned, you will help ensure that health capital projects continually improve in both facility design and long-term impact.
Key accountabilities include:
- Support the development of evaluations of nominated health capital projects per NSW Treasury Policy and Guidance (TPG22-22), HI Evaluation Guidelines and templates for contribution to annual NSW Evidence Bank reporting.
- Develop summary reports of the completed evaluations tailored for internal or external audiences to share evaluation findings and lessons.
- Support planning and development of the inaugural Evidence and Evaluation Registry in HI and its future maintenance and update.
- Advise and support the project teams in developing an Evaluation Plan at the business case development stage per the NSW Treasury Policy and Guidance (TPG22-22), HI Evaluation Guidelines and templates.
- Research on best practices in
o Obtaining primary evidence of capital projects’ contributions to improving patient, community, and system outcomes and benefits.
o Health benefit quantification methodologies, costing and funding analysis, and models of care that promote efficiency and improvement to project outcomes and benefits
- Support the leadership team in identifying opportunities to use the evaluation framework as a collaboration tool with the Economic and Health Facility Advisory and the other NSW Health agencies.
