- Recommend evidence-based approaches to maximise ROI across marketing and fundraising investments.
- Act as the central point of expertise for surveys and research across Marketing and Philanthropy, including annual awareness surveys, donor satisfaction surveys and ad-hoc market research.
- Critically review survey design, ensuring questions are relevant and data collected is actionable.
- Analyse and interpret survey data to surface key insights that inform strategy, campaign design and supporter engagement initiatives.
- Share findings across teams, helping to align activities with supporter needs, perceptions and brand positioning.
- Act as the CMPO's right hand for data-driven decision-making, reports and ensuring insights inform executive planning.
- Partner with the Supporter Growth & Experience team (dotted line) to optimise Individual Giving and Regular Giving outcomes.
- Collaborate with Philanthropy and Planned Giving teams to surface insights that drive major donor engagement and estate planning strategies.
- Work closely with Digital and Marketing teams to provide second-eye review of campaign metrics, advertising value and audience targeting.
- Liaise with the Technology and Data Governance teams to ensure compliance with enterprise data policies.
- Develop and deliver regular dashboards, reports, and forecasts that measure performance across marketing and fundraising portfolios.
- Analyse digital campaign results, providing insights into ROAS, conversion rates and supporter value.
- Apply propensity modelling to predict donor behaviour (IE likelihood to upgrade, lapse or bequeath), enabling smarter targeting and investment decisions.
- Identify and share benchmarks, trends and best practice learnings to inform investment and resource allocation.
- Support financial planning and KPI setting with evidence-based insights.
- Test and pilot new approaches to donor segmentation, lookalike audience targeting and campaign optimisation.
- Design and evolve predictive models to inform acquisition, reactivation and retention strategies, ensuring continuous improvement in supporter engagement outcomes.
