We are seeking an Analyst to join the Real-World Evidence (RWE) team at IQVIA Australia. If successful you will be joining an entrepreneurial, consultative, and collaborative team that works at the cutting edge of the healthcare industry in Australia.

The RWE team works on a broad range of activities to support our base of pharmaceutical, biotechnology and consumer healthcare industry clients in the generation of high-quality real-world evidence (RWE), this includes:

- Execution of real-world studies using a range of methods (e.g., retrospective, prospective, “mixed methods”) to develop scientific publications for peer reviewed journals
- Development digital health initiatives to help understand and improve the patient experience
- Development of thought leadership used to engage our core client base, government bodies & patient groups
- Creation of Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning (AIML) algorithms to support disease diagnosis & treatment optimisation

**Principal Accountabilities**

As an Analyst you will be working on a range of client projects and internal initiatives, your responsibilities will be to:

- Support clearly defined workstreams with guidance from senior team members as part of client engagements
- Support development of key client deliverables (e.g., PowerPoint reports & slide decks, study protocols, data analysis)
- Contribute to the preparation and execution of client meetings & workshops
- Support sales opportunities and proposal development
- Conduct research to specific briefs using internal and external data sources
- Support outreach to and engagement with existing and potential partners (including data, technology, and research organisations)
- Proactively develop a basic knowledge of consulting methodologies, observational research, and the life sciences market through the delivery of engagements and participation in formal and informal learning opportunities

**About You**
- Bachelor's Degree required; advanced degree preferred (Master's degree or PhD)
- At least one-year work experience in healthcare / life science or data-focussed role
- Understanding of and interest in the Australian healthcare environment
- Competent in using Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Well-developed written and verbal communication
- Ability to conduct independent research and information gathering and to communicate findings to internal / external stakeholders
- Strong commitment to high quality work and an interest in rapid learning and skill development
- Attention to detail and ability to deliver high quality work within timeline
