About the opportunity
As an Engagement Officer, you will be the first point of contact for new and potential customers wishing to access Breakthru services. You will provide advice regarding service options and work closely with customers and their families to understand their requirements, expectations, and aspirations. The key focus of this role is to secure customer engagement and lead the development of service agreements to ensure a streamlined onboarding process.
**This includes**:
Actively responding to new customer enquiries
Processing relevant referrals and NDIS Request for Service
Liaising with operational teams regarding service capacity and availability
Awareness of Breakthru and legislative policies and procedures
Participate in promotional campaigns to increase customer acquisition and promote Breakthru’s service offerings
Thorough and timely file management
About you
You are passionate, driven to succeed and thrive on customer service, building relationships both internally and externally. Your ability to manage multiple priorities while continuing to provide strong customer service, will be the key to your success in this role. With highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain strong relationships, your commitment to customers and their families will support the continued customer acquisition and growth of the business.

Strong foundational knowledge of NDIS & funding flexibility
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to advocate on behalf of our customers
