**Job Description**:
The Griffith Mates Coordinator will coordinate the development and delivery of a range of student engagement events, activities and programs designed to increase meaningful interaction between international students, local students and the local community to align with the University’s strategic priorities for student retention and engagement.

Within this role you will provide advice and planning support to enhance international and domestic student engagement through the Student Experience suite of programs with a focus on coordinating the Griffith Mates program and a range of activities designed to increase a positive interaction between domestic and international students.

**What we can offer**

This is a fixed term (12 month), full time position and is primarily based at the Griffith University Nathan campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.

The full time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 6 range $85,287 - $90,972 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $99,785 - $106,437 per annum.

**Qualifications**:
To be successful in this role, you will have excellent systems accruement, a high confidence of communication and people skills with a demonstrated commitment to building and supporting Griffiths domestic and international students through student programs. You will also have, but not limited to:

- A relevant tertiary qualification(s) or equivalent combination of experience, skills and training.
- A high level of communication skills, including in person and digital presentation confidence, and technical experience with social media platforms
- Proven ability to work autonomously and in team with confidence to lead when necessary
- Able to provide accurate, timely and consistent advice to key stakeholders including current students and third-party providers
