**Job Description**:
The Griffith University Tennis Centre is operated by Griffith Sport within Griffith University. Griffith Sport is responsible for the provision of a diverse range of sport and recreation activities, services and facilities for staff, students and the external community across Brisbane, Logan & the Gold Coast. The Griffith University Tennis Centre is a 16-court facility with 12 plexi-cushion and 4 grass courts. The Centre operates 7 days a weeks and offers a range of services including tennis coaching, social tennis, competitive fixtures, holiday camps, tournaments and general court hire. We pride ourselves on our high-performance programs and we have clear pathways to guide our students from beginner level through to elite stages.

The Tennis Program Coordinator is responsible for providing support and assistance with planning, coordinating, executing and reviewing Griffith Tennis Centre events and activities. Events range in scale and size with programs primarily targeting the engagement of members, current and prospective students, staff and the local community.

This is a part time, fixed term role, 25 hours per week. There is an expectation that the position will involve the need for flexibility in working hours dependent on current activities occurring at the Centre. Most work will be confined to afternoons, evenings and weekends. Due to the nature of some events and tournaments, different hours may be required.

**Qualifications**:

- The occupant of this position will hold an associate diploma level qualifications in Sport and/or Event Management combined with relevant experience working in a tertiary environment and/or the sport and recreation industry; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Current driver’s license, Blue Card, First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- Level 1 Tennis Australia or ATPCA coaching qualification (desirable)

Additional Information
**Salary range**

Hew Level 4 Base Salary $65,112 - $68,700 (pro rata) per annum + 17% superannuation. The total package is in the range $76,181 - $80,379 (pro rata) per annum.
