At Busy Bees at Carrum Downs, we’re looking for a confident and experienced Assistant Service Manager (2IC) to support the Centre Director in leading our 91-place service with integrity, quality, and care.

About the Role

As a 2IC, you will:
- Support the Centre Director with daily operations, compliance, and team management- Step into the Centre Director’s role when required- Mentor and guide educators to deliver high-quality programs aligned with the EYLF- Build and maintain strong relationships with families, children, and the community- Ensure the centre meets NQS, regulatory, and safety standards- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment

What You’ll Need- Diploma (or higher) in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved)- Current Working with Children Check (Employee)- First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training (HLTAID012 or equivalent)- Child Protection / Mandatory Reporting certificate- Previous experience as a Lead Educator or Assistant Manager (2IC)- Strong leadership, time management, and communication skills- A genuine passion for early learning and empowering others
