Our purpose-built child care in Noarlunga Downs is filled with educational play spaces and state-of-the-art design incorporating natural spaces with a team of qualified and experienced Educators and Teaching Practitioners. Essential Qualifications- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification as recognized by ACECQA.- A current and valid Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one.- First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.

Essential Skills and Attributes- Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS) to assist in ensuring quality practices and outcomes.- Ability to support, mentor and lead a team of educators in the absence of the Service Manager.- Capability to assist in managing daily operations, from staffing to parent communications.- Strong verbal and written skills for effective interactions with families, staff and regulatory bodies.- Ability to effectively address and resolve issues that may arise within the service.

Desirable Skills and Knowledge- Previous experience in a Service 2IC, Assistant Director, Assistant Service Manager or similar role within an early childhood setting.- Demonstrated skills in working collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and support staff.- Proficiency in using relevant management software and tools for communication, documentation and reporting.- A commitment to engage in ongoing training and development.- Skills to address and mediate challenges or disputes that might arise among staff or with families.
