**The role**
The TAFE SA Procurement and Contracts management team is on a journey.
This re-energized team come from diverse industry backgrounds and display a genuine openness to fresh ideas and contemporary practices in procurement and contracts management. They are seeking an outcome driven contracts professional, who can lead, negotiate, and deliver strategic improvements to the contracts management function that ultimately delivers value to TAFE SA.
This role is a unique opportunity to work on delivering key projects and driving TAFE SA forward in their strategic plan. **Your new role will involve**:
- Leading the strategic planning, delivery and evaluation of critical Goods and Services for a specific portfolio of Business Units at TAFE SA
- Resolving complex issues with innovative solutions that are consistent with TAFE SA objectives
- Align procurement expertise with complexity of the business unit procurement types to achieve improved quality and value for money outcomes
- Become a trusted Procurement Business Partner for a specific portfolio of Business Units at TAFE SA
- Review and management of commercial matters and issues including resolution of contractual disputes, and providing forward-thinking solutions to achieve positive outcomes for TAFE SA
- Manage competing objectives and priorities regarding critical projects and systems
- Ensure suppliers, partners and internal stakeholders are adhering to high levels of delivery and probity
- Steering strategic alignment and a high-performance culture in the Procurement and Contract Management team, and assisting to lead and develop less experienced staff where necessary

**What you will need to apply**:
- Experience in the preparation and negotiation of complex procurement contracts (end to end)
- High level communication and interpersonal skills to confidently develop and manage stakeholder relationships, foster collaboration, build implicit trust with the stakeholder base and manage complex multi-stakeholder issues
- Extensive experience in, and knowledge of the contemporary Procurement practices
- Comprehensive knowledge of, and experience advising on, the issues, risks, trends and directions associated with Goods and Services
