Exciting opportunity for a passionate Change Manager to join Federal Government Organisation

**Your new company**

This Federal Government Organisation is located at Tullamarine Airport and have a very flexible hybrid working model. They are responsible for providing services to the Aviation Industry and are seeking a Change Manager to join and contribute to a major technical program.

**Your new role**

You will join this enterprise as a Change Manager, reporting to the Portfolio Change Director. Using your experience in organisational and technical change management to enable successful implementation of key projects. Working as part of a Project change team, you will support organisational change delivery, ensuring adoption, resistant management and readiness is managed with change initiatives. The Change Analyst will focus on supporting the people side of business process, system, governance, cultural, physical, customer and social impacts of change. Ideal for someone with Large-scale business transformations experience who has implemented and integrated technical products and services in a previous role. This will be perfect for someone comfortable with and has demonstrable experience in driving change in a technical environment and can manage Change Management activities on several projects simultaneously.
- Develop, lead and deliver change management plans, leveraging the framework, methodology and principles to deliver effective change interventions, which set the organisation and Program/Project up for success, and that are aligned with the company culture.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, engineering, networks, and telecommunications will be beneficial.
- Develop and maintain a broad range of relationships to influence within the value chain with their team and at peer level, and positively influence stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with training, communications and human factors colleagues to ensure that our people are fully aware and equipped to transition to the new way of working with mínimal disruption and a reasonable degree of comfort.
- Maintain an effective working relationship with the Program team to ensure that there is coordination of change activities in support of the Program’s objectives, acting as a facilitator and/or coach for problem-solving and resolving issues.
- Work closely with the Business Change Manager and business as usual teams to effectively embed change and to ensure the change is sustained and benefits are realised.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Up to 5 years’ experience in managing change across large geographically dispersed organisations.
- Strong understanding of IT Infrastructure, Engineering, Networks, and Telecommunications will be beneficial.
- Ability to identify the change management requirements for each impacted business unit/team.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Strong stakeholder management skills at all levels
- Passion for driving the best for our people and our organisation
- Advanced skills in Microsoft - ppt, excel, word.
- Experience working with the PROSCI change methodology.

As this is a Federal Government position, Australian citizenship or Permanent Residency is mandatory, and all applicants must be willing and eligible to undergo and maintain an Australian Government security clearance to the appropriate level.
