Our client is a food processor based in Melbourne's Southeast, supplying their unique customers throughout the country with quality products. Their excellent business model and reliance upon quality have seen their success balloon recently, which has resulted in the need for a Production Supervisor. This will be a permanent role on a morning shift. This is a fantastic time to join the team in a new facility and hone your leadership skills while really proving your skills as a food manufacturing professional.

In this role you will:

- Provide leadership, coordination, and support to processing teams
- Ensure production goals are met in line with quality and safety
- Production Scheduling to meet customer specifications and orders
- Oversee hygiene and safety standards are always adhered to
- Oversee and maintain stock levels
- Work closely with other areas of the business including maintenance to ensure equipment is maintained
- Actively seek improvement across yield, waste reduction and process efficiencies

To be successful in the role you will require:

- Proven supervisory experience in a food processing/manufacturing environment
- Strong GMP and HACCP knowledge and experience
- Commitment to and understanding of food safety, health & safety and GMP
- Track record of achieving production levels
- Ability to increase output through Continuous Improvement activities
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
