Hands on production supervisor to manage a largely blue collar team, eastern suburbs location
**Your new company**
My client is a long term established manufacturer supplying finished building materials goods into a range of clients including interior designers and builders. In operations for 75 years, this eastern suburbs manufacturer boasts a diverse client pool, a well established site team and a settled team of approximately 20 within the business.
**Your new role**
As a result of an internal promotion, a role has opened up for a hands-on Production Supervisor to manage a largely blue-collar team of fabricators and installers. Some administrative duties will be included, mainly timesheet approval and, but other responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the production floor, reporting into senior management
- Ensuring best manufacturing practice is carried out, and that product is compliant with quality standards
- Communication with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and client where needed

- Fabrication/construction background viewed favourably
