Now, this well-established business located in Laverton are rapidly expanding and are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join their innovative and dynamic team.

**Your New Role**

As a Production Supervisor in this business, you will take responsibility for planning, administering, and reviewing the manufacturing process in order to optimise resource use, minimise costs and ensure that OH&S and quality standards are met at all times.

Reporting directly to the manager, you will supervise team leaders, leading hands & assistant supervisors as well as liaising management, maintenance workers, human resources & quality assurance.

**Your day-to-day responsibilities will include**:

- Supervising employees according to the production schedule, reporting any significant deviation plan with a supporting reason to the Group Leader
- Ensuring that all department orders are completed prior to picking time, reporting any instances of when this may not occur with a supporting reason
- Leading in monitoring, reviewing, identifying and implementing processes to drive continuous improvement activities through the execution of best practice
- Monitoring the safety performance of self and all employees, contractors and visitors
- Understanding, supporting and demonstrating the firms' values and vision for the future
- Monitoring and effective management of budgets; wastage, overtime, resourcing

**What You'll Need to Succeed**

To excel in this role, you will possess the following qualifications and skills:

- At least 3 years' previous experience in a leadership role (preferably in FMCG)
- Demonstrated skills/experience in business management and in leadership roles
- Excellent written & oral skills
- Commitment to leading by example and getting the best out of the team
