**Marine Environmental Consultant - Multiple Opportunities**

**About the opportunity**

**About You**

We are specifically looking for individuals with:

- A marine science or engineering background, with experience working on environmental issues related to coastal or marine infrastructure development
- Project management skills coupled with aligned skills in oral / written communication, time management and commercial acumen
- An understanding of and experience with Australian environmental approvals processes, i.e., under the Environmental Protection Act 1986 (WA), Environment Protection Biodiversity and Conservation Act 1999 (Cwlth) and/or Environment Protection (Sea Dumping) Act 1981 (Cwlth)
- An understanding of marine and/or coastal issues and their management
- Experience in preparation / presentation / review of proposals

**The following are desirable**:

- Meaningful direct experience in environmental impact assessment (EIA) within energy ports/harbours, and/or aquaculture sectors
- Experience working in the field including remote locations
- The ability to coach and mentor our graduates
- Strong skills in water and sediment quality assessment
- Experience with spatial analysis software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS, Global Mapper)
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB)
