We are currently looking for a security cleared (NV1) SoS Integration Advisor to join our team on a permanent basis. No two days are the same in this role which is essential to the success of the project. We are looking for multi-skilled, flexible, hardworking people who are keen to grow their career within a leading Defence supplier. You will have a strong background in communications and previous experience in the Defence environment.

**What will I be doing day to day?**
- Assist the SoS Integration Lead in developing and maintaining a SoS integration requirements baseline and plans that are consistent with the project-level FPSs, OCDs, SoS architecture views, roadmaps and other SoS requirements baselines
- Provide advice, guidance, and support to the AIR6500 Series projects to ensure that system-of-systems integration activities and dependencies are appropriately considered in the project delivery schedules and plans.
- Participate in applicable working groups, technical reviews and workshops as directed by the SoS Integration Lead
- Be proactive in identifying, exploring, and managing risks, issues and opportunities related to system-of-systems integration to ensure an effective and efficient delivery of the AIR6500 Series Program of Projects
- Work with external integration design stakeholders including the JIAD working group to ensure that issues and risks relating to project delivery are early identified and mitigated
- Under the SoS Integration Lead’s supervision, support the SoS Architecture Design team in developing and maintaining SoS architecture views and requirements

**What sort of skills do I need?**
- Be a qualified practitioner with relevant tertiary qualifications (Bachelors and above).
- Have more than 12 years of relevant industry experience, including having held senior system integration roles in ACAT1 projects.
- Have experience with networks, radar, hardware, and software integration.
- Experience with system integration design and delivery preferably but not necessarily in an Integrated Air and Missile Defence environment.
- Experience with using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools preferably in large and complex systems/system-of-systems development and delivery environments would be highly regarded.
- Hold a current NV1 security clearance.
- Superior risk analysis and deductive reasoning skills to support effective decision making.
