**The Role**
Your role:

- Plan and Manage Program System of Systems (SoS) Integrated Support System (ISS)/Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities and centralised services to enable the Program and project-specific ISS/ILS outcomes within the broader Fundamental Inputs to Capability (FIC).
- For the Program, oversee and manage the development, delivery and implementation of Program ISS/ILS strategies, plans and artefacts.
- Plan, develop and manage teams conducting centralised ISS/ILS work to support Program and Project work outputs.
- Participate in Project/ Program progress reviews and Governance Boards with the Program Delivery Manager (PDM) and Program Leads.
- Represent CASG on ILS-specific, and other meetings and reviews with industry, as required.
- Lead the Program SoS ILS team in carrying out strategic, operational and tactical tasks, ensuring knowledge transfer.
- Provide management and oversight of Program-wide ILS training, coaching and mentoring; Assess professionalisation and training needs to ensure SoS ILS teams have suitable technical skills in support of tasks and roles as they develop.
- Identify, analyse and mitigate Strategic, Program and project functional ISS/ILS risks utilising Defence risk tools, Governance and Assurance mechanisms and other official reporting.
- Manage and deliver Support System Constituent Capability (SSCC) elements and other support requirements for AIR6500 Program and projects IAW scheduled milestones.
- Oversee and manage the ISS/ILS Schedule and negotiate and adjust schedule with scheduling as needed to meet scheduled milestones.
- Effectively coordinate, communicate and collaborate with the Integrated Logistics Support Team, FIC Coordination & Integration (FIC C&I) Team, Project and Program Management Team and Senior Leadership.
- Assist with complex/international procurement activities, and international and domestic import/export arrangements through Defence export controls specialist agencies.
- Develop, nurture and effectively manage stakeholder relationships with the Capability Manager (Air Force Headquarters), Air Force customer units, other Defence Organisations and industry.
- Manage SoS relationships for ISS/ILS outcomes derived from AIR6500-1 and AIR6502-1, and further related projects.
- Plan and manage effective engagement with Program and project stakeholders.
- Effectively coordinate and communicate with the Integrated Logistics Support Managers and FIC Coordinators for AIR6500-1 and AIR6502-1, and further related projects.
- Exercise appropriate technical control to support ILSM accountabilities to Project Managers, while achieving Capability Program Delivery Manager outcomes as directed by DCI.

**About our Team**
Air Defence Systems Branch is engaging in the delivery of series of projects an as part of Defence’s Integrated Air and Missile Defence (IAMD) capability program.

The two key projects this role will support are:

- AIR6500 PHASE 1 Joint Air Battle Management System (JABMS) will provide command and control systems, and communications systems that interface with air, maritime and land systems.
- AIR6502 PHASE 1 Medium Range Ground Based Air Defence (MGRBAD), will provide air Defence effect capable of providing force protection. It’s an exciting time to join the Branch as these projects will consolidate and transform the ADF’s individual air Defence capabilities into a persistent, layered, scalable, integrated and allied-interoperable air and missile. Defence architecture over the next two decades and beyond.

An AIR6500 System of Systems (SoS) Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Manager will have skills and experience developed in one or more of a broad range of employment areas; management experience in Defence CASG ML Program/Project roles, management experience in ADF/APS roles potentially within an aligned Capability Development or Program/Project management area, Defence or parallel civilian engineering or product support disciplines, or other relevant military or civilian leadership, executive or management roles.
