This Facilities Manager position will be reporting into our Operations Director and is responsible for the co-ordination and management of all building maintenance and repairs at all services and across all trades, playing a crucial part in ensuring both the quality and safety within our centres across Australia.

**What you will be responsible for**:

- Manage and coordinate building maintenance and repairs at all childcare centres, across all trades (plumbing, electrical, mechanical, building maintenance etc.)
- Develop preventative maintenance schedules and proactively review to ensure our Service needs are being exceeded
- Coordinate the planning and implementation of capital works projects
- Communicate regularly with property owners, subcontractors, contractors and centres
- Quality assurance of trades and insurance assessors
- Attend site meetings and conduct relevant inspections where needed
- Seek tenders / quotes to undertake works
- Manage budget and reconciliation
- Provide agreed service levels to all centres

**What you will bring**:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role, managing multi-sites nationwide
- Strong understanding of facilities management
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Advanced organisational and time management skills
- Positive, calm, confident structured approach when under pressure
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suites: Excel, Word and Outlook
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Dedicated team player
