**How will I help?**

As the NSW Metro State Manager of Home Lending Westpac, you’ll be accountable for ensuring the delivery of sustainable business growth through acquiring and retaining customers. You will be shaping the objectives for customer advocacy while leading a highly engaged team to deliver on Westpac’s home lending vision.

This is an opportunity to work closely with the State General Manager to lead the business through the next phase of transformation and digitisation.

You’ll be accountable for the execution of the State Home Lending strategy to deliver on Home Ownership first party growth. Proven experience in the delivery of robust productivity and performance insights to drive stronger outcomes will form a critical part of this role. Your demonstrated success in leading through multiple layers and managing remotely will be instrumental as you improve retention, engagement, and speed to competency of the Home Lending workforce whilst mitigating risk to the business.

You will be an accomplished leader managing large-scale teams of highly motivated sales professionals. Your leadership style will be captured through inspiration and superior team and stakeholder engagement. Your strong sense of ownership, responsibility, and accountability for the overall performance of the business will be instrumental to your success.

As the State Manager Home Lending, you’ll have sound credit knowledge. You will be accustomed to the consumer banking market both in Sydney and Australia more broadly with relations to the trends, the challenges, and the regulatory environment. Your ability to build and maintain a high performing and engaging team whilst leading through multiple layers and manage remotely to empower your business and team to grow. All the while possessing the self-motivation that’s needed to genuinely lead the way forward.
