**About the role
The Technology Officer provides experienced technical support and timely problem resolution to maintain local information systems, hardware and infrastructure.
About you
Technical Knowledge - Demonstrated skill and ability in providing local Information & Communication Technology (ICT) support to digital hospital devices, desktop technologies and system administration.
Customer Focus - Remains accessible to customers and uses strong communication skills to understand customers' needs and deliver an organised service that meets their expectations.
Problem Solving - Uses good analytical skills, strong problem-solving skills and a logical approach to achieve outcomes for local ICT with an awareness of Queensland Health and district strategic direction.
Work Values - Demonstrates honesty, integrity and respect for all patients, carers and staff. Demonstrated ability to actively participate in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, occupational health and safety and ethical behaviour.
Mandatory Requirements:
Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
