**About - Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology**
The Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology (FEIT) has been the leading Australian provider of engineering and IT education and research for over 150 years. **About the Role**
Reporting to the Workplace Operations Manager, the Workplace Experience Coordinator role sits within the wider Infrastructure Team who are responsible for managing the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology’s portfolio of office workplace, specialist laboratory and research environments.
The Workplace Experience Coordinator is responsible for supporting the physical day-to-day operation of office workplaces and delivering high-quality, professional, friendly workplace support to improve the overall workplace experience for Faculty personnel.
Responsibilities include:
- Deliver high-quality, professional, friendly workplace support for the Faculty’s academics, graduate researchers and professional staff with a focus on improving the workplace experience
- Liaise with external suppliers and contractors to ensure the effective operation of spaces
- Championing workplace etiquette and guidelines, ensuring they’re effectively communicated and being followed
- Ensure effective and timely resolution of workplace and facility service issues
- Proactively identify opportunities and implement improvements in the workplace experience
- Assist with the handover duties required post practical completion of all major and minor building projects to operationalise the space, including updating access control door groups and profiles and liaising with project managers/builders on defects
**About You**:
- You will be a keen problem-solver who can work autonomously and possess a flexible approach and contributes ideas and initiates new ways of working in an evolving working environment_
You will also have:
- Relevant experience and broad knowledge in at least one of the following commercial fields: workplace/office management, concierge/reception, property/facilities management
- Ability to work collaboratively, positively and flexibly in a busy environment with changing demands & amongst a wider team
- Displays a commitment to friendly, quality client service, values the supply of accurate and timely information
- Ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders and manage expectations of outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to plan and organise self and others to ensure the timely completion of tasks
- To ensure the University continues to provide a safe environment for everyone, this position requires the incumbent to hold a current and valid Working with Children Check._
