Come and join our Independent Hardware Group as a **Master Data Specialist** based in Heatherton, Victoria on full time basis who will be responsible for governance of data accuracy.

A highly analytical role (primarily Excel based), ensuring data alignment targets and legislative requirements is achieved.

**What you’ll do**
- Maintain the integrity of IHG Product Data, ensuring policies, procedures and timelines are adhered.
- Product Data accuracy across dual maintained IHG systems (AX and COM) including third party external providers (Chemdata / Lupin).
- End to end legislative management of Safety Data Sheets (SDS). IHG representative to third party provider including on charging of fee services to respective Suppliers
- Regular reviews of New, Deleted and Replacement SKUs
- End to end Management of Product Data tasks or projects as required by the business
- To act as second in charge (2IC) to the Master Data Manager

**What you’ll be**
- Advanced computing skills with specific reference to Microsoft Excel and Access Databases
- Analytical acumen; ability to visualise, articulate, conceptualise and solve both complex and uncomplicated problems by making decisions that are sensible given the available information
- Executive briefing; ability to summarise data providing creditable and business beneficial top line recommendations with detail available in a professional useable format
- Experience in best practice policies and procedures
- Strong ability to communicate and educate decisions in accordance with key accountabilities and responsibilities.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast changing environment, with limited supervision, working to business deadlines.
