Bankstown Sports is a one-stop destination for all. Our venues include the Lady Banks Rooftop Bar and the Basement Brewhouse, along with diverse food offerings across Italian, Asian, and middle eastern cuisines, just to name a few. The Group operates six clubs as well as a state of the art 600 seat theatre, a large Grand Ballroom and an extensive range of facilities to host events of all kinds along with a commercial office tower.
About us
The ultimate craft beer haven in South West Sydney, Basement Brewhouse is located within Bankstown Sports Club. We have an impressive selection of 30 taps pouring an array of craft beers, ciders, wine, and cocktails, as well as a mouth-watering menu that boasts burgers, fries, tacos and more We also brew and can a selection of our own brews in-house
We have over 30 screens within the venue where you can catch the latest in Live Sport and Fox Sports - you won’t miss a minute of the action
About the Role
We are currently seeking dedicated and experienced Food & Beverage Attendants to work at Basement Brewhouse.
This is an exciting opportunity to progress your hospitality career in a fun, exciting and professional environment.
**Key responsibilities include**:

- Demonstrating our Culture Values - Strong Team Player, Willingness to Surprise and Delight our guests and a 'Can-Do' Attitude.
- Bar service
- Greeting all customers and projecting a positive, motivated and friendly image to guests and staff
- Assisting with all customer enquiries, or requests regarding products and services
- Providing efficient and accurate service of food & beverage items to customers in bar areas and/or functions
- Restaurant duties; including table preparation, food & beverage service and cleaning duties
- Building and maintaining positive customer relationships, across a broad range of diverse cultures
- Cash handling

**Essential experience**:

- Experience working in restaurant environment
- Prior experience working in a bar
- Knowledge of responsible service of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Ability to create and maintain relationships
- Ability to work independently or as a part of a team
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)
- Immaculate personal presentation
- Must have RSA and RCG qualifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Flexibility to work when required: weekdays and weekends
- Rights to work in Australia
