**About the role**:
Interrelate is looking for an experienced Head of Business Development to drive business growth and provide leadership to expand their reach within the community. In this role you will execute the strategic plan, incorporating the Organisation’s vision, purpose, and values.

**About the Organisation**

Interrelate is a for-purpose provider of relationship services, that specialises in supporting parents and children within the community. They have over 30 physical locations, and a strong online presence. Their vast range of services includes counselling, children's contact services, family dispute resolution and mediation, mental health and wellbeing support, domestic and family violence support, and relationship education for students. **Key objectives of the role**
- Driving business growth in service delivery and revenue diversification as per Interrelate’s strategic plan priorities, through collaboration with all business units and operations.
- Ensuring the organisation flourishes in their social purpose through existing and new programs that are relevant to communities’ needs.
- Providing leadership and professional development to the Business Development Team, identifying opportunities to drive business growth, expanding Interrelate’s market footprint nationally.
- Successfully incorporating Interrelate’s marketing and sales strategies in accordance with the organisation’s Vision, Purpose, Values and Strategic Plan.
- As a member of the Executive Team, you will be jointly accountable for the development and delivery of Interrelate’s strategic and business plans.

**Knowledge, skills, and competencies**
- Degree level qualifications in business management, marketing, sales, or social enterprise
- At least 5 years’ experience of working at executive level, driving and implementing complex business development strategies
- An understanding of the needs of vulnerable communities, particularly the indigenous, LGBTQ+ or CALD sectors
- An in-depth understanding of human service sector issues and attracting funding to ensure strategic goals are met, will be highly regarded
- A proven track record in managing multi-functional teams, delivering people-centred services to the community
- Exceptional interpersonal, EQ, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to connect with the greater community to raise awareness of Interrelate and the organisational goals
- A sound ability to manage conflicting priorities, demonstrating reliability in meeting required deadlines
- Financial management skills, ideally within the context of a social enterprise
