The **Event and Communications Lead** will play a critical role in amplifying Xplor Education’s brand presence, driving retention, managing strategic communications, and delivering high-impact events that engage customers, prospects, and sector partners. This position requires a highly organised, strategic thinker with exceptional interpersonal, project management and communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Director of Customer & Marketing, you’ll be part of a global team of high-performance marketers working together to build the Xplor brand strategy in the Education vertical. You'll play a key role in the Commercial team at Xplor Education, supported by the global Marketing function within the wider Xplor Technologies organisation.

Some of the other responsibilities include:

- Plan, execute, and evaluate in-person and virtual events, including trade shows, webinars, customer summits, and industry conferences.
- Develop event strategies and objectives that align with overall marketing and business goals.
- Manage all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, budget tracking, and post-event analysis.
- Play an integral role in deepening engagement with existing customers in the Education vertical through events and digital communications channels.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure lead generation and brand awareness targets are met through event participation.
- Support the Marketing Team by owning and driving Product release and Product Marketing Communications
- Set, plan and implement social media and communication campaigns and strategies to grow our customer reach. Act as main social media manager for Xplor Education accounts.
- Create compelling event materials, including invitations, landing pages, and promotional content.
- Collaborate with the Copywriting and Design team to develop blog posts, case studies, and whitepapers to support communications and event initiatives.
- Ensure all materials adhere to brand guidelines and resonate with target audiences.
- Partner with product, sales, and customer success teams to ensure messaging is aligned with customer needs and business priorities.
- Work closely with leadership to prepare presentations, speeches, and other communication materials.

For this position, we offer a hybrid and flexible working model, where you will spend 2-3 days per week in the office and the rest working from home.

Required qualifications for this role:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in event management, communications, or a similar role, ideally in a B2B SaaS or technology environment.
- Proven success in planning and executing events that drive business results.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with event management tools (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite) and marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo).
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Experience in measuring and reporting on ROI for events and communications campaigns.
- Familiarity with B2B SaaS industry trends and audiences.
