About the role:
As the Originator - Power, Environment and Carbon you will oversee structured agreements within the portfolio. You will be dealing with power purchase agreements, battery offtake agreements, system security agreements, environmental product agreements and sales to large scale end users. You will be liaising with stakeholders and customers to ensure that all agreements are executed and managed effectively over the life cycle of the agreement.

You will also work with the Power and Environmental team to assist with the development of high-quality commercial advice and to support the negotiation of long and short term structured commercial agreements for electricity derivatives and renewable energy agreements, including power purchase agreements.

About You:
You will be a dynamic individual with advanced communication and negotiation skills, who is confident, highly organised, detail orientated, eager to learn and a person that thrives on building strong relationships. You will have a good understanding of the energy market industry and experienced in working with complex analytical concepts.

What you bring to the table:

- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Engineering, Law or similar
- 5+ years in commercial contract management. Experience in power purchase agreements and large scale renewable and battery deals would be an advantage
- An understanding of contract law, legal terms and conditions and compliance requirements
- Advanced communication, interpersonal, influencing and presentation skills
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
