**About the Opportunity**

We are seeking a self-motivated, driven and energetic Business Trainee who is wanting to undertake a **Certificate III in Business Administration (BSB 30120)** with a commercial sales focus.

This 12-month Traineeship will give you the opportunity to put theory into practice in order to gain valuable experience in the workplace to set you up for a successful business career.

Our client, **Preformed Line Products (PLP)** is an Australian manufacturing company that has been supplying quality products to the power utility, telecommunication, cable television and data network industries as well as specialised niche markets since it began operating in Australia in 1961.

PLP’s extensive product range, technologies and services help build, protect and maintain critical infrastructure.

You will grow profitable sales through supporting our external customers by offering suitable advise, pricing, and delivery details on our product range; with a focus on our communication products.

Manage and deliver Projects for the Power Utilities and their associated Contractors on line upgrades, Renewables and Infrastructure Projects.

Support internal customers and stakeholders across the business through proactive customer, project, sales and administrative service.

Resolve internal and external customer issues.

Relentlessly follow up on quotations to maximise success on projects.

**About You**
- Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
- The desire to learn and a positive attitude
- Ability to perform manual handling duties
- Attention to detail and basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Thrive working in a fast-paced, team environment
- Previous experience in a workshop environment will be well regarded but not required
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment medical and/or drug & alcohol test
