RGM / NSM / GSM level opportunity designed for Structural Engineer with proven major protect sales capability.This leadership role requires a collaborative, proven senior level sales capability along with structural engineering qualifications to lead, support and enhance our clients' sales activity and visibility on major construction projects across the East Coast, Australia.Based in Sydney, the role is responsible for technical and sales focused activity.Ideally a qualified engineer, you will be confident to identify and secure major project opportunities across multiple existing sectors plus emerging markets. As such, your proven major project experience in Structural Steel, Precast, engineered building products, residential, infrastructure or aligned sectors is essential.This role is predominantly customer-facing and pivotal to our clients' business visibility and ongoing growth. As the primary contact with established clients and valued customers, you will inherit stable, trusted relationships that have sustained longevity and ongoing growth.The role is designed to provide technical expertise and strategic input to support the company's sales & growth targets. As a significant contributor to the Exec Team your responsibility in this role includes developing, supporting, satisfying and influencing valued Tier 1 clients, customers and relationships.Our client is a respected brand, and a profitable business experiencing significant growth via increased sales and competitor acquisition. This is a highly visible role in a complex and demanding environment that includes major projects in emerging markets, in infrastructure and residential development, energy, data centers.In order to be considered for this opportunity you must have qualified in engineering, construction or an aligned discipline. Exemplary communication, influencing and presentation skills are prerequisite. As important is your self  discipline, consistent motivation, and perseverance.Key business objectives and responsibilities:Offer advice, support and guidance from a technical perspective to Tier 1 customersInfluence, support and enhance relationships with a highly valued and established customer base of Tier 1 builders and developers.Competent and confident to negotiate and liaise with engineers and designers in a complex manufacturing / construction environmentLarge (>$30m value) negotiation experienceSolid understanding of complex and detailed contracts.Self awareness, Presence, capability, and credibility are essential attributes.Develop existing and new strong partnerships with major builders and developers.The selected candidate will possess the following experience as a minimum:-Qualifications in Structural Engineering, Construction Management, essential;Highly developed communication and presentation skills;The ability to build, nurture and maintain strong business relationships;Strong strategic, commercial and critical thinking skills;Proven analytical aptitude;To succeed in this role you must be a credible, proven networked sales achiever, with high IQ and EQ, focused on driving positive profitable outcomes via an indirect team of estimation professionals.
