**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise day-to-day operations on construction sites.
- Ensure work is progressing according to project timelines and quality standards.
- Perform carpentry tasks when required, including framing, installing, and finishing.
- Operate and maintain a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, trades, and suppliers.
- Obtain quotations for trades and supplies.
- Liaise with and schedule tradespeople and suppliers.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Manage basic traffic control and site logistics as needed.
- Resolve on-site issues and communicate effectively with the management team.
- Assist in material handling, measurements, and minor site setups when necessary.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in carpentry or general construction.
- Strong knowledge of tools and equipment used in building and carpentry work.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Traffic management experience or willingness to learn.
- Physically fit and willing to carry out manual tasks when required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Work Location: In person
