**The Role**
The HRIS technical and functional analyst role suits a knowledgeable professional, able to work with multiple stake holders assisting in business development, system integration and maintenance, and helping maximise the value of KU IT systems.
We are seeking someone to join a **permanent full-time basis accruing a monthly RDO. **This position is based out of our newly renovated, sun lit central office - opposite the QVB on York Street, Sydney. The office is only a very short walk from Town Hall train station.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Working with internal and external stakeholders to develop, communicate, and roll out system enhancements and functionality changes.
- Understands and participates in developing business objectives by providing strategic advice.
- Analysing and documenting technical issues that can be resolved internally.
- Raising support calls on complex issues that cannot be resolved internally to relevant third-party consultants.
- Help in future projects to interpret customer business needs by gathering and defining requirements to build and document specifications for development and configuration.
- Providing technical insight, analysing problems, offering solutions, and ensuring effective utilisation of technology to drive business success to the strategic directions of KU’s systems and technology.
**About You**
To be successful for the role you will have:
- Degree in Information Technology or proven experience in a similar role.
- Advanced SQL skills and navigation around databases
- Capability in supporting complex system change & implementation.
- Experience in the continuous improvement of IT projects
- Professional communication, negotiation, and people skills
- High-level organisational skills and ability to prioritise critical deadlines.
- Experience in developing user training materials.
- A positive, resilient and ‘can do’ attitude.
