We are a well-established company that is forging its way in the electrical industry. We have several government contracts in various states.

This role is varied and will develop and expand over time. We require a team player who is motivated and committed to assist with the development of the new processes and procedures. We are looking for someone who has knowledge of accounting practices who will be able to assist the Finance Team with daily tasks. Must have MYOB experience at an intermediate level.

Reporting to the Finance Supervisor, this role will assist with the following
- Data entry
- Processing AP Invoices
- End of month reconciliation of various accounts
- Development of accounting procedures
- Filing
- Assisting with AR as required
- Liaising with other departments re supplier invoices
- Other ad-hoc support as required by the business
- Experience with multiple company transactions
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles

This is a full-time position and requires someone who is organised, reliable and has a sound knowledge of accounts and business practices. You need to have previous experience in a similar role and be prepared to learn new skills and work with system changes as the business develops and introduces new software.

**Salary**: Up to $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
