ABOUT THE ROLE
Due to an internal promotion, we have a great opportunity for a competent and experienced Event Coordinator who will take accountability for building and managing relationships in the ACT region. This varied role will see you undertake building and managing relationships with our members, managing enquiries, providing support and delivery of events and activities in ACT. Your customer experience expertise, event delivery knowledge and relationship management experience will be key to engage and deliver value to our membership.

This is a permanent, full-time role with an amazing team. Our team based in Canberra forms part of an incredibly collaborative culture offering opportunities for involvement in projects and innovative initiatives, in addition:
**Key Responsibilities will include**:

- Managing and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Member Engagement event/activity working with the ACT team to design, deliver and support relevant activities.
- Coordinate member community groups and committees
- Member enquiries, interactions, and engagement
- Leading and managing local social media activation
- Utilising our CRM (Salesforce) for case management, reporting, and monitoring
- Assisting the Regional Manager in the management and co-ordination of local resources

ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a self-starter with a can-do attitude who wants to take ownership and is passionate about delivering exceptional events. To be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate:

- Prior experience in a similar role, preferably within corporate or hospitality environment
- Experience in organising events, including planning, logistics, sponsorship, stakeholder engagement, vendor management and communications
- Relationship management with both internal and external partners
- Impeccable problem solving, organisation and time management skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to juggle time-sensitive priorities
- Ability to be agile and adaptable in a transformational environment
