**The Role**
The purpose of the role and your unique contribution is to support and co-ordinate all Data, Analytical & reporting requirements across analytics / tech pricing, pricing, reinsurance, reserving and claims streams.
This includes engagement of all SMEs for each relevant stream area to meet required program outcomes within agreed timeframes. This role is critical in ensuring we drive Best Practice Product & Pricing outcomes for our Customers, People, Partners and Shareholders in the new technology infrastructure.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Responsibility 1 - Support and help maintain the Enterprise Platform Data and Reporting roadmap for Customer, Analytics and Pricing streams**:
- Capture data and reporting requirements from relevant stakeholders and document these in the Enterprise Platform backlog
- Work with stakeholders so that requirements accurately describe value to the business, perform analysis where required to achieve this
- Work with stakeholders so that requirements are sequenced in terms of priority to the business, perform analysis where required to achieve this
- Work with the Enterprise Platform Data OPS stream to align business rule definitions and align view of data and reporting priorities
- Support the Data delivery teams in requirement clarifications, planning report walkthroughs and showcases, ensure updates to timing in the data delivery stream are accurately reflected in the roadmap milestones.
- Regularly engage and meet with Data and Reporting SMEs to ensure they are comfortable with the Data and Reporting roadmap
- Regularly engage with the Operational Excellence team and Enterprise Platform SMEs from across the business to ensure new features in the strategic platforms backlog are captured in the Data and Reporting roadmap
- Engage with colleagues in Tech & Ops Data to ensure the BAU data backlogs and the Enterprise Platform data backlogs are aligned
**Responsibility 2 - Support SMEs with UAT activities**:
- Alongside SMEs and the data delivery team, ensure that UAT coverage and timelines are adequate for successful release of data products into production
- In conjunction with SMEs, define test scenarios required based on common transaction types and methods as well as edge-case transaction types and methods, ensure the data delivery team has been able to generate these scenarios sufficiently in the testing environments
- Help triage defects throughout the UAT process
- Ensure that SMEs have documented test results and these are accessible to all interested stakeholders
- Identify and help remove duplication of testing activity across the Enterprise Platform data streams
**Responsibility 3 - Prepare stakeholders for data and reporting changes - 20%**:
- Working with PP&G teams to identify documentation, training and change readiness needs for the Enterprise Platform Data and Reporting products
- Planning the delivery of documentation, training and change readiness activities with the Enterprise Platform Change Lead, delivering components of this plan where required
- Actively checking in on SMEs post-release of new data products to gather feedback and provide additional assistance with use of new data products where required, ensure feedback being captured post-release is factored into future releases
**Skills & Experience**
- Knowledge and experience in general insurance data and reporting, insurance pricing, data science and/or information technology
- Experience with SAS, SQL, Python or equivalent
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and facilitation
- Experience working in an Agile environment
