Are you a AWS Data Platform Engineer in data-driven or migration projects that help organisations successfully build, develop and deploy data-driven decisions?
**This opportunity provides the opportunity to work with Customers, upskill/finesse your consulting skills, liaise directly with key stakeholders whilst being mentored by Data Leads.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Migration Planning and Execution**:
Develop and implement a detailed migration plan from Cloudera to AWS native data services, with a strong focus on HMS and Glue.
- **Data Integration**:
Ensure seamless integration of data across various platforms and services, maintaining data integrity and consistency.
- **Automation**:
Automate data migration and synchronisation processes and workflows.
- **Collaboration**:
Work closely with cross-functional teams including data engineers and platform engineers to ensure cohesive and efficient operations.
- **Documentation**:
Assist in building out incident response plans and resilience documentation for knowledge transfer and use in platform certification.

**Required Skills and Experience**:

- Extensive experience with AWS Glue, AWS Lake Formation, and AWS EMR
- Strong background in data migration projects, particularly from Cloudera to AWS native data services
- Proficiency in AWS services such as S3, Redshift, and Athena
- In-depth knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code platforms
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
