Rail Planning Services is seeking an experienced CAD operator/ Staging Co-ordinator, preferably with brownfield rail experience. The purpose of this role is to develop staging strategies, prepare staging diagrams and other presentation materials to describe proposed project development and lead Digital Engineering functions.

The role is a permanent full-time position based in Sydney, with an attractive remuneration package.

The key responsibilities of the role are to:

- prepare staging logic, construction staging diagrams, construction matrices, p6 schedules and reports
- check consistency across multi-disciplinary teams utilising available information (design - reports, 2D, 3D, 4D information)
- participate in stakeholder consultation, workshops and other forums required for project development
- lead the company’s response to clients’ digital engineering requirements
- develop and maintain the company’s CAD standards, manual, tutorials, formats, layering, libraries, templates, xref folder and other related documentation
- provide digital engineering training to employees
- complete other assigned tasks consistent with skill set and capability.
- a high level of CAD skill
- minimum 5 years’ experience in the rail sector
- experience in delivery of brownfield rail infrastructure is desirable
- Construction Industry Induction (White Card)
- Rail Safety Worker/ Rail Industry Worker
