**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Transform initial design sketches and mark-ups into finished working documents
- Draft detailed drawings of maritime and coastal engineering structures
- Compute volumes of excavations and fill for dredging and earthmoving projects
- Assist designers and engineers with preparation of engineering drawing packages
- Assist engineers with fieldworks, site inspections and data collection

**Qualifications**:

- Certificate IV or Diploma Engineering Drafting or equivalent in relevant discipline
- Up to 2 years of related experience
- AutoCAD and/or Civil3D (essential)
- Good numeracy, geometry and computer skills

**Preferred education and experience**
- Revit proficiency is desirable
- GIS (QGIS or ArcGIS) proficiency is desirable
- Knowledge of material properties
- Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards
- All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171

**Working conditions**:
Sedentary for prolonged period of time, interact with clients, and travel occasionally.
