Australian provider of quality early childhood education and care looking for an Architectural Technician.

**Your new company**
Our client is a leading provider of quality care and education services across Australia through a variety of recognised and well-respected brands. They aim to better the lives and minds of the thousands of children attending their network of early learning centres every day. Due to an increase in workload, they are looking to add an Architectural Technician to their Design and Property team to assist with the delivery of their projects.

**Your new role**
As the Architectural Technician, you will be responsible for assisting in designing the refurbishment scope of works and drawings for project delivery. This includes developing new building designs layouts and concepts for development approval based on development briefs. You will prepare design solutions and relevant documentation packages for all stages of project delivery, as well as prepare sketch plans for lease negotiations, including 3D perspectives, renders and 3D fly thru's. Additionally, you will coordinate with project stakeholders regarding complex design solutions to ensure project scope, budget, programming, and risks have been addressed. You will also be able to assist in attaining all relevant statuary approvals, licences and certificates.

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of conceptual design presentation, with a background in childcare education being highly desirable. Therefore, you will have a minimum of three years' experience in architectural specific documentation using Revit,, with a relevant discipline in Architecture. You will have working knowledge of computer systems such as CAD, Revit, Revit Family Creation and Photoshop, as well as knowledge in building construction processes, standards, and certification. You will also be able to conduct several administration tasks in this area, including documentation using Microsoft Office programs. You will also have the ability to travel to project sites across the state.
